WCS is very popular in the United States, but recently in the last few years, it has begun to make its way to Europe and other countries, it is currently being danced in places like UK, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Finland, Austraila, Russia and has even been introduced in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
As a partner dance it is continuing to grow in interest throughout Europe. There is no doubt it will continue to spread in popularity as time marches on. Its a fun dance, enjoyed by people of all ages from children to senior citizens and in between. For practioners of other partner dances like salsa, ballroom, lindy hop, etc, WCS is another dance that you can learn and enjoy just as much as any partner dance.
